Hello fellow cricketers!

I want to try and answer all the questions and enquiries I have been getting via email.

1) The membership fee is 120€p.a  plus 24€ p.a for active members. The total of 144€ can be paid each febuary or 72€ in febuary and 72€ in august. Pls note the way you want to pay on your membership forms.

2) All the required equipment will be provided from FSV. We have bats, pads, gloves,keeper gloves, helmets and guards from adidas. Ofcourse everyone is free to use their own gear. I also prefer to play with my own personal gear and bat.

3)Yes, we do want to play in winter in a hall. The first time in the first week of febuary. Members will be contacted via cricket news about where and what time.

4) The travelling to away games e.g munich or würzburg will be done in the FSV mini vans.

5) The practice sessions will be conducted from the trainer or an appointed player and will vary according to our requirments.

6)No, there is no fixed team yet. Team A and B will be formed after the first couple of training sessions and according to preformance. Nobody is automatically on team A and gets to play the league in 2012.

7)Ofcourse, as a big team, we want to socialize beyond cricket. I welcome any good ideas like watching the cricket world cup, having a grill afternoon after games or organising trips together. e.g. going skiing or hiking.

Es sind jetzt genug Anmeldungen da für das Erste Team. Wir werden im kurze eine Sitzung halten um sich gegenseitig Vorstellen zur können. Ich hoffe das bald wir in die Halle gehen können um mit das Indoor Training anzufangen.

We now have enough members to form the first team. Soon we will be having a meeting to get to know each other. I also hope that we can soon go into the hall to start the indoor practice.

Can't wait till the season starts!! Teams from Würzburg, Frankfurt and Münich have already contacted me to set matches!!

Endlich einen Cricket Verein in Erlangen. (Nürnberg, Fürth, Franken)

The organsation is now nearly complete. The Equipment is on its way so soon we will have our first getogether in the hall.  We still need players so get enrolled!
